A few of us got together on the Saturday before the big SMEx XXIX to see the first three Indiana Jones movies again. That’s right we watched, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade all in a row! Well it wasn’t that bad we got to have a nice BBQ break in between the last two.
It was great to see all these movies again, all of them still as fun as the first time, but I really didn’t remember how crazy Temple of Doom was! The Last Crusade is still my favorite Indiana Jones movie. A great lead up to the new movie.

Does this movie even need a review? Everyone knows it’s a classic.
SMEx managed to reach the pinnacle of 10 attendees again. We just can’t seem to break the magic 10. But the overall atmosphere at SMEx was great. Ten people, it was apparently the first time this “Final Cut” version of Blade Runner was shown in Norway, and they had some DVD give aways, which unfortunately, no SMEx members managed to win.
I will say that going to Cinemateket is an experience in itself. So many many movie buffs, and not even a peep out of the audience. Sometimes, it’s just all to serious. But this was the right movie for it
