So it was bound to happen some time, and it seems it finally has…
SMEx started of with most people turning up to drinks before hand early. The usual things were discussed, the weekend parties, recovery and the crazy price of NOK 130 per ticket for a 3D movie.
Then we arrived at the cinema, everyone was looking forward to a 3D movie. Unfortunately Anton had bought the tickets late so all that was left was the first row, so we expected the entire row to be free ready for us. To our shock there were only two spare seats! Everybody was looking at each other dumb founded, but we have encountered this problem before so we proceeded to ask the people to check their tickets…… and then as we are looking at each others tickets in shock in the fact they were the same, someone realised our tickets were for Saturday and not Sunday night, DAMN!
At this point we couldn’t figure out what happened so after some discussion we went back to the ticket office to try and figure out what went wrong. Luckily Else flew into action and was complaining about a “glitch” with their internet site which had given us tickets for the wrong day, and so we managed to get the tickets reissued for a new day.
Anton at this point felt relieved as the weight of NOK 1170 worth of “website failure” lifted off his shoulders, suggested we all we out for a drink instead.
The happy ending is that when I arrived home to write about the evenings events, Top Gun was playing on the movie channel…. Highway to the danger zone….

I should really not be allowed on the Internet. Or to maintain mission-critical systems and shit. Imagine me in a nuclear missile facility, he-he
